Excellent facilities
All our rooms are fully-equipped with basic amenities. We provide age appropriate toys for children and also have an outdoor play area for all our age groups. A two-course lunch and a two-course tea are provided by our nursery cook. There is also a light snack mid-morning and afternoon. We have a large kitchen, separate laundry and a Managers' office/ staff room located at the front of the building. If you have any queries, you're always welcome to speak to the Manager.

Childcare at its best
Our nursery is a member of the NDNA (National Day Nurseries Association) and the Haxby & Wigginton Local Foundation Stage Partnership. We offer the Early Years' Education (EYF) funded places and Working Families Funding for 9mth, 2, 3 & 4 year olds. The curriculum we use at Little Acorns is 'Development Matters'. We also use the 'Famly' app for communication.
Each child is individual, and at Little Acorns Day Nursery we recognise this. Children are encouraged to learn and play at their own pace. We offer a safe, caring, fun and stimulating environment in which children blossom from Little Acorns to Mighty Oaks.
